Streets2Schools (S2S) is a premier provider of high-quality Psycho-Educational Programs. Presently, S2S is approved in 38 California Counties. The services are offered to persons convicted of crimes of domestic violence, child endangerment and or neglect, who are mandated to participate in and complete a Court Ordered Intervention Program. S2S is a participant of the AB 372 (Stone, Domestic Violence: Probation, 2018) study group which proved promising, and, as a result, in 2023, AB 479 (Rubio, Alternative Domestic Violence Program, 2023) was passed to extend the sunset on AB 372 (Stone, Domestic Violence: Probation, 2018) from July 1, 2023, to July 1, 2026. Through this collaborative alliance, S2S provides alternative 16- Week and 26- Week DV-BIP courses. S2S also offers a Parenting Program, Anger Management, Intimate Domestic Violence, and Drug and Alcohol courses.Through the Commitment2Change department within S2S, we specialize in providing high-quality virtual STC approved professional development opportunities, including interactive workshops, educational webinars, and one-on-one coaching services, all aimed at empowering individuals to reach their full potential and drive positive change in our community. As an emerging thought leader in the domestic violence provider arena I deliver keynote talks and breakout sessions on topics such as, “Exploring Alternative Treatment Options for Men Convicted of Domestic Violence” “The Love and Compassion Treatment Model”, and “Mending Broken Connections to Create Cultures of Compassionate Respect”.
