APPA has released its call for presenters for their upcoming Winter Training Institutes, and we want to help make sure the incredible probation work you all do in California is well represented! More information is below, and please let Laura Dixon (laura@cpoc.org) know if you are considering presenting, need CPOC staff assistance with creating a presentation or have submitted something already!

The American Probation and Parole Association (APPA) is pleased to issue a Call for Presenters for APPA’s 2023 Winter Training Institutes. The five regional training institutes are being offered in place of the one winter training institute. Our members asked, and we are responding to requests to offer our in-person training institute in your area. The dates and locations of these inaugural training events follow: 

1.   Jan 23-25              Columbus, OH 

2.   Jan 29-31              New Orleans, LA 

3.   Feb 5-7                 Omaha, NE 

4.   Feb 19-21             Philadelphia, PA 

5.   Feb 26-28             Los Angeles, CA
