YouImpact
YouImpact is a victim-founded online victim impact panel. There have been over 55,000 program graduates since YouImpact’s founding in 2011. The program is available in English, Spanish and Somali, 24/7/365 on any internet-enabled device. Cost is covered fully by the justice involved individual and indigent clients can take the program free of cost. Participants work at their own pace and receive an instant certificate of completion that they can immediately share with their probation officer. Participants will hear 11 non-judgemental stories from both victims and those convicted of impaired driving. Five thoughtful questions follow each story with a 100% pass/fail requirements to move on. At the conclusion, participants write a letter to themselves outlining the changes they will make for themselves today and their plan for moving forward. YouImpact mails this to them as a printed letter in six months.
