Live Webinar: CCR Family Finding and Engagement
COURSE FULL
The Continuum of Care Reform has increased the need for
California’s juvenile probation departments to find ways to
meaningfully engage immediate and extended family members in
helping youth to succeed on probation. This training is designed
for line staff, supervisors, and managers interested in learning
new family finding strategies and techniques for locating and
effectively engaging family and involving them in case planning
activities to benefit the youth. The goal of engagement is to
ensure these family members play a supportive role in the youth’s
life, regardless of where the youth resides. The training will
help staff and supervisors develop approaches to integrate this
work into their daily activities of case management without
becoming an extra burden.
