Juvenile Probation Supervisor Placement Core – Sacramento 2022
In-Person Training
The Placement Supervising Probation Officer Course is designed
for newly assigned Placement Unit Supervisors (within 24 months)
and others in a leadership role within probation. This
course will encompass all aspects of the Continuum Care of Reform
through the lens of the probation placement process. Some
of the important aspects would include but not be limited to case
planning, concurrent planning, family finding, permanency, Title
IV-E mandates and information required through state and federal
mandates such as the Child and Family Services Review. This
course is designed to give supervisors the expertise needed to
ensure that their placement unit is in compliance with Division
31 requirements.
It is highly recommended that participants have at least six
month of placement experience prior to attending this
course.
Session Dates: March 1-3, 2022 - 8:00am to 5:00pm Daily

Department of Public Health and the Sacramento County Health
Order, masks/face coverings are to be worn, regardless of
vaccination status, in all Sacramento County indoor settings.
CPOC will continue to monitor updates and changes to state and
county public health guidelines as it relates to COVID protocols
and will alert all registered attendees if they should change.
Courses scheduled in-person may move to a virtual format
depending on local restrictions and recommendations.
