This course will provide an overview of foster care funding sources available for probation Complex Care Child-Specific, Capacity Building and Innovative Model of Care. Participants will learn details about foster care funding sources available for probation Complex Care Child-Specific, Innovative Model of Care, and Capacity Building. Participants will learn about these foster care funding opportunities, their requirements and how to claim for these services when applicable. Participants will be exposed to various learning styles to maximize opportunities and apply the information they learn for each funding source.

Target Audience: This training session is applicable to: probation officers who identify the needs of the youth/families, supervisors and managers who can identify funding sources available to meet those needs of youth/families, and fiscal staff will understand how to apply the claiming processes.  County teams comprised of the above-named staff are encouraged to attend together.
