Foster Care Fiscal Training Workshop Module 5: Title IV-E Fiscal Claiming Workbook Overview For Probation

This course will provide an overview of foster care, Title IV-E claiming workbook developed specifically for Probation Departments to track various aspects of Title IV-E Foster Care administrative claiming. The webinar will cover an overview of Title IVE Claiming process, the Title IV-E Workbook as a claim tracking tool, followed by an explanation of what happens after the claim is submitted. This webinar will cover cost claiming, payroll/non-payroll costs, time studying and Program Identification Codes (PIN). If a county utilizes a contract with a vendor for Title IV-E claiming and will provide a nuts-and-bolts approach to understanding Title IV-E claiming for probation.

Target Audience: This training session is applicable to: Juvenile Probation Supervisors, Managers of probation foster care programs and fiscal staff who complete their county’s Title IV-E administrative claiming processes.
