The Juvenile Placement Core Booster course is designed to provide updates for placement probation officers and supervisors who have been in their assignment for more than one year or have left and recently returned to placement. This booster course will focus on recent updates to placement processes, new mandates, and best practices as set forth by the California Department of Social Services (CDSS).

It is highly recommended that attendees are in Placement assignment for a minimum of one year before attending this course.
