Local dignitaries joined workers and retirees of Ventura County’s Juvenile Facilities Complex on April 16, 2024 to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

Chief Probation Officer Gina Johnson kicked off the celebration that included a reception of light refreshments, displays of memorabilia and site tours.

The complex sits on 45 acres outside Oxnard and houses about 60 youths and young adults….

Guests on Tuesday visited areas like the gym, Boys & Girls Club recreation area and a tattoo removal space that opened late last year.
